Each year, the 42nd travels around Indiana, to the St. Louis area, Michigan, and several times to southern Illinois. Domestically, the 42nd has traveled to Alabama, Connecticut, Wisconsin, and Tennessee.

In 2013, the band performed internationally, completing a 7-day tour of Scotland.
